CLOISONNE BRACELETS
Add a splash of color to your wardrobe with these intricate pieces of cloisonne jewelry.

Although cloisonne (cloy-zuh-nay) is now considered a Chinese art, it did not originate in China; missionaries from central Asia passed on the techniques during the 1300s.  Chinese artisans improved the techniques, and their beautiful work has been enjoyed by Chinese and foreigners for centuries.

To make cloisonne various colors of enamel are applied to a base on which small wires have formed many shapes; the object is fired, and then polished smooth.  Besides jewelry, vases, trays, jewelry cases, tea sets, and many other objects are formed out of cloisonne

We offer cloisonne bracelets for both children and adults.

Child's bracelet (opens to put it on): 1.75 in. (4.5 cm) diameter.

Adult's bracelet (does not open to put it on): 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) diameter.
