What payment methods does Chinese Folk Art accept?

When will I get my order?
Assuming what was ordered is in stock, customers in North America should
receive the order about a week after we receive payment (credit card authorization,
personal check, or money order). If we do not have a product in stock,
you will normally receive it in four to eight weeks. If you order
by credit card, the charge goes through at the time you place the order,
not at the time when we ship the product. In other words, you may
see your bill before you see the product you ordered. Back

How does Chinese Folk Art ship products?
Normally, we send items Priority Mail through the US Postal Service,
but occasionally Federal Express or a similar service is used. Items sent
overseas are also sent through the postal service. Back

How much are shipping & handling charges?
Shipping to addresses in the USA:
Shipping charges are $4.00 per ORDER.
Shipping to addresses in Canada or Mexico:
Shipping charges are $5.00 per ORDER.
Shipping to addresses outside of North America:
Sea mail costs $10 per ORDER; airmail costs $18 per ORDER. Back

May I pay extra and have my order sent by an overnight or other
express service?
Generally speaking, the answer is "no," but if you have an unusual
situation, call or email us (304-295-3026 or questions@chinesefolkart.com),
and we may be able to work something out to speed up your order. Back

Do you keep all the paintings in stock?
No, we do not; we usually have 100-150 paintings in stock at any time.
We encourage customers to email us at questions@chinesefolkart.com
to find out whether a painting is in stock before ordering it. It will
usually take four to eight weeks to receive paintings not in stock. Back

May I contact you to find out if what I am ordering is in stock?
Sure! We especially encourage those ordering paintings to contact us,
but we welcome inquires about the status of any product. If we are out
of stock of an item (other than individual paintings), we try to indicate

What if I don’t like what I bought? May I return it?
Yes, of course. If for any reason you decide not to keep something
you order from us, simply return it to us, undamaged, within two weeks
of receiving it. We will refund the full amount—plus a bit more to reimburse

I don’t want to pay by credit card. Do I still add items to the
shopping cart?
Yes. When you have finished your shopping, you’ll fill out shipping
information, and under "Payment Method," you’ll indicate that you want
to pay by personal check or money order. The shopping cart will email your
order to us—after you mail us your payment (please include your copy of

How do I remove something from my shopping cart?
While viewing the cart, change the quantity ("QTY") to "0" and hit
"recalculate." The item will be removed from the cart. Back

Will I get a copy of my order?
Yes. A copy of your order is automatically sent to the email address
you provide, unless you indicate you do not want a copy. Back

When I view the shopping cart, why does the URL change to a different
site?
The shopping cart actually is located on a different website; while
you are looking at merchandise, you are on our site. Back

Are credit card orders secure?
Yes. Our shopping cart provider (CoolCart)
and credit card authorization system (Authorizenet)

Do I need to pay sales tax?
Only West Virginia residents pay sales tax. Back to

Do you have any discounts available for large orders?
Yes—any order over $175 gets a 10 percent discount.
(The $175 amount is before shipping costs and, where relevant, sales tax).
The discount is automatically provided by the shopping cart once $175 worth

I have a coupon. How do I use it?
Shop and order normally. When you check out, add the code from the
coupon to the shopping cart, and the shopping cart will make the price

Yes, if you are buying in sufficient quantities and reselling the product(s).

Why did I get charged for something I have not yet received?
Our shopping cart system charges your card when you order the product.
Unfortunately, that means that if you are ordering something that is out
of stock, you may see your bill before you see the product. Back
